I have listened to this video over and over again, and I never get tired of it. Aretha Franklin has always been my favorite female vocalist, so that is why I put her name into the Search box when I was first exploring YouTube. I was really surprised to learn that she had performed operatic music, and was awe-struck at what a moving rendition she performed. Hope you all enjoy this video as much as I do!

About Me
- K. D. Martin
- I have been teaching for 20 years, 15 of them teaching art. I teach grades K through 4, and one Ceramics class each day at our high school. My preferred art medium for my own work is clay. I love traveling and learning about other cultures and their art. I have visited four continents, and hope to make it to at least two more. I have had extended visits to Japan, Italy, and Thailand through educational grants.
